"The Greatest Show on Earth” Casting
The Greatest Show on Earth”
Overview: “The Greatest Show on Earth” is a Full Sail 35mm production. This 35mm short has a dedicated crew that is already going above and beyond to make this film the best it can be. We plan on displaying this production at film festivals throughout the country and are even holding fundraisers to increase the production value. Union and non-union talent is welcome to submit their resumes, headshots, reels, etc. Shooting dates are May 11-14.
Casting for:
* The Magnificent Mr. Beauregard (young): Male, 20’s or 30’s, An amazing entertainer who is the ringleader of the greatest show on Earth, the Barnum and Bailey circus. He is a proud hardworking man whose love of the circus is only bested by the love he has for his wife Mary.
* The Magnificent Mr. Beauregard (old): Male, 60’s,An old, washed up circus ringleader who once knew a life of grandeur and entertained thousands, but is now forgotten in a world that no longer needs him. He’s our hero on this journey, he’s an entertainer, a star, but he’s fallen on hard times. Today is the first day at his first job outside of the circus, and it turns out to be the worst and the best day of his life.
* Mary Beauregard: Female, 30’s, Mary is the amazingly beautiful wife of The Magnificent Mr. Beauregard. She traveled the world as a circus performer with her husband, the love of her life.
* Mr. Banks: Male, 40’s-70’s, Ruthless owner of large manufacturing company, he has a boisterous and threatening presence hidden behind a veil of charisma and charm.
* Circus Performers: Male, any age, we are in need of a few more men with any talent at all appropriate for the circus.
