Storyline
May, a 13 year-old African-American girl in love with country music and saving her father Raymond, goes on a road trip with her father with the hopes of winning a talent competition and securing a life for them together. A quick pit stop on the road turns into an endless detour when her father decides he has other plans about the future.
Casting For
RAY (30s/40s). African-American
A failed musician, Ray wants to live his life doing whatever he feels like, free from responsibility and obligation. A lost soul who tries to manipulate his way through life.
TRAVIS (20s/30s). Caucasian
Florida local, handsome but awkward and troubled. Unable to talk to women his own age.

RAI is currently seeking actors with experience in improvisation and stage performance to join its professional working ranks! We are also seeking motivated newcomers with lots of heart and potential to train up in our apprentice program (at NO charge!)
Auditions WILL be with other actors - this IS improv after all!
Bring a headshot and resume and dress comfortably - you WILL be asked to move around!

• Three Christian Americans which will be documented as they journey down three new paths studying Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.

'Pinafore Pirates' is a delightful musical show not to be missed. The music is a pleasure to listen to and will bring many happy memories back to musical theatre lovers, particularly those who enjoy the music of Sir Arthur Sullivan. The group presenting this show may be new, but the cast are very experienced players who have brought a great deal of pleasure to audiences who have been privileged to see them perform in other productions. The Director , June Powell, who has many productions to her credit, has chosen an excellent cast with whom she has been working for many months and is confident that the audiences who come to see this production will leave the theatre with happy memories of an evening well spent
In a plot which has echoes of The Magnificent Seven, Daisy, daughter of Buttercup, seeks help to thwart a band of outrageous female pirates, who have taken her lover as a hostage. With the help of Iolanthe, the Fairy Queen, and the Princess Ida, she enlists the aid of The Mikado, The Sorcerer, The Duke of Plaza-Toro, Admiral Sir Joseph Porter, and Major-General Stanley to save the day.
