We will wrap shooting for our feature-length film "Super Death Kill" in three weeks, and we need an editor who is in the same mind set as the rest of our crew.
SDK is looking for an uber geek (like us); someone who loves sci-fi, action, kung fu, horror movies, and conventions-and we need someone who will love this film and learn the footage intimately.
If you are someone who has no ego, knows movie trivia like its no one's business, watches Brit tv/film, loves comics/graphic novels/anime, is familiar with "Asian extreme films" (to a lesser extent), and is an after effects "jedi"-then we want to talk to you. How serious are we about these "personal" characteristics? In your interview with the producer, this is 50% of what you will be asked about!
This film has been shot on a Canon 5d, and the footage is amazing. The sound has been separately recorded and marked, and probably 90% of the effects were shot in house (old school).
SDK is a post-apocalyptic film about a man who comes in from the wastelands and must fight his way through a tournament of mutants and creatures with horrific, terrifying abilities.
The soundtrack and score are wonderful, the cinematography is amazing, and the actors have rocked their roles!
All of us are doing this out of our pockets with the intention of making something back if it sells, or at the very least having a demo unlike anything anyone else has (which will further all of our careers).
The writer/director and DP have over 25 years experience in the business between the two of them, and great pains were made to assemble a talented, hand-picked crew that is now like family. We want you to be a part of this family-and reap the potential rewards with us!

Hello. We're currently nearing the final stages of production on an independent animated feature film. We've got about 95 minutes of existing score; it has a good amount of potential, but before it can be called complete, it requires:
1. additional instrumentation
2. possible redo in a few areas where emotional tone is off the mark
3. slight under-scoring to a few areas that currently have no music.
The overall style should be something of a mix between heavy metal, contemporary beats and classical strings. Think PORTISHEAD, EVANESCENCE and METALLICA (when recorded with the Philharmonic Orchestra).
You do not need a long list of credits or years of experience in the business, but you do need to work professionally and get along well with others. The director has some 'known' indie titles under his belt, and the composer who you'd be complimenting has some very heavy chops and respectable track-record in the indie and tv worlds.
There are about 5 weeks remaining in the schedule to manage the music. If you think you've got the correct sound and the time to manage it, go ahead and get in touch with an email about yourself and some links to relevant samples of your work. This position does come with a small paycheck.
I'm sure there are lots of people who are going to be upset by yet another thread looking for someone to be part of a team without receiving top 'Hollywood' pay; if you're one of those angry people, then - clearly - you are not correct for this position. The cold hard fact of the indie film world is that most of us are here doing this because we love it and want to find a way to see it eventually become a situation that enriches our lives in many ways, including financial - but until that time comes, we continue pushing and fighting and creating with hope and love and joy in our hearts. If you understand that, then we want you on the team.

We will wrap shooting for our feature-length film "Super Death Kill" in three weeks, and we need an editor who is in the same mind set as the rest of our crew.
SDK is looking for an uber geek (like us); someone who loves sci-fi, action, kung fu, horror movies, and conventions-and we need someone who will love this film and learn the footage intimately.
If you are someone who has no ego, knows movie trivia like its no one's business, watches Brit tv/film, loves comics/graphic novels/anime, is familiar with "Asian extreme films" (to a lesser extent), and is an after effects "jedi"-then we want to talk to you. How serious are we about these "personal" characteristics? In your interview with the producer, this is 50% of what you will be asked about!
This film has been shot on a Canon 5d, and the footage is amazing. The sound has been separately recorded and marked, and probably 90% of the effects were shot in house (old school).
SDK is a post-apocalyptic film about a man who comes in from the wastelands and must fight his way through a tournament of mutants and creatures with horrific, terrifying abilities.
The soundtrack and score are wonderful, the cinematography is amazing, and the actors have rocked their roles!
All of us are doing this out of our pockets with the intention of making something back if it sells, or at the very least having a demo unlike anything anyone else has (which will further all of our careers).
The writer/director and DP have over 25 years experience in the business between the two of them, and great pains were made to assemble a talented, hand-picked crew that is now like family. We want you to be a part of this family-and reap the potential rewards with us!

Hello. We're currently nearing the final stages of production on an independent animated feature film. We've got about 95 minutes of existing score; it has a good amount of potential, but before it can be called complete, it requires:
1. additional instrumentation
2. possible redo in a few areas where emotional tone is off the mark
3. slight under-scoring to a few areas that currently have no music.
The overall style should be something of a mix between heavy metal, contemporary beats and classical strings. Think PORTISHEAD, EVANESCENCE and METALLICA (when recorded with the Philharmonic Orchestra).
You do not need a long list of credits or years of experience in the business, but you do need to work professionally and get along well with others. The director has some 'known' indie titles under his belt, and the composer who you'd be complimenting has some very heavy chops and respectable track-record in the indie and tv worlds.
There are about 5 weeks remaining in the schedule to manage the music. If you think you've got the correct sound and the time to manage it, go ahead and get in touch with an email about yourself and some links to relevant samples of your work. This position does come with a small paycheck.
I'm sure there are lots of people who are going to be upset by yet another thread looking for someone to be part of a team without receiving top 'Hollywood' pay; if you're one of those angry people, then - clearly - you are not correct for this position. The cold hard fact of the indie film world is that most of us are here doing this because we love it and want to find a way to see it eventually become a situation that enriches our lives in many ways, including financial - but until that time comes, we continue pushing and fighting and creating with hope and love and joy in our hearts. If you understand that, then we want you on the team.

We are looking for someone to shoot an interview in Miami. We do not want an elaborate production. We need someone that has a 3 chip professional camera shooting SD, or HD if you can onto minidv. We need to keep the crew down to a minimum. One shooter/director/DP type that can do their own lighting (must have own gear) and a sound person (must have own gear). We may be able to cover one PA if we decide to add one for this.
This is not a long shoot. Not even a full day. It's an interview segment. The person being interviewed is experienced in front of the camera so this will be a great time saver for all involved. We also need some b-roll to show this person at work and a couple of beautiful establishing shots of Miami, which you may already have shot if you are based in Miami.
Here ye, here ye: we do not have "big bucks" for this shoot. If you need a project in-between your big paying jobs, then this might be it. This is a segment for a web series. We have other future segments to shoot. If you work with us on the price for this first episode, we believe we will be able to pay more for the next one.
