Indie production company holding auditions next Saturday for an ultra-low budget feature to be shot in late-May/early-June.

Right now we are looking for the two leads.

Vince (mid-to-late 20s) Preferably Hispanic/American, but not necessary. Strong, confident personality and very sarcastic. A fast talker; actor must speak fluent english -- could be ghetto english, but not Ricky Ricardo english.

This is non-union, and there is no immediate pay involved. There are, however, a couple of great speaking-parts that have blocks of dialogue for each actor on virtually every single page. Keep in mind that most of the film will be shot on afternoon/nights and weekends, with already owned HD equipment. Schedule will be flexible through our four-week shoot, so there is no need to quit your day-job if you have one.

Hello this is the director of A Community Theatre Production that has been going on for the last month and a half. Due to some scheduling one of our actors had to drop out and needs to be recast ASAP!
This project has been in production for the last month and is going to be performed late April, early May, in a professional theatre. The play is a hysterical farce and the character we are looking for is an older woman or any women who could play age very well. ALl the actors are incredible and we hope to cast someone who will keep our production running with incredible enthusiastic talent. Music Video Casting

This Saturday after 5PM, for 4 hours and SUNDAY for about 8 hours, I am doing a cool casting video for a very talented actress. Not your average cheese fest casting video...

The idea is to shoot 5 different scenes, slick, beautifully lit, like the scenes out of a real film. In glorious HD.

I am looking for an actress and an actor that would like to participate in this project, to act opposite to this wonderful actress.

his mistress, Picasso’s date, an elderly philosopher, Charles Dabernow Schmendimen and
an idiot inventor introduce additional flourishes of humor. The final surprise patron to join
the merriment at the Lapin Agile is a charismatic dark haired singer time warped in from a
later era.

Auditions for a UCF Short film entitled "Call Girls" will be taking place Thursday afternoon, March 19th, at the Communications Building on UCF main campus. They will be held from 12pm-6pm.

Character descriptions are below:

CRAIG – Male, Late teens. College freshman that is spending his spring break at home doing schoolwork. A straight-laced, nice guy who does what he is supposed to do. Funny and social when in his element but somewhat of a loner who is afraid to speak up in groups.
ALLY – Female, 14-16. Free Spirit. Outgoing. Spends a lot of time with her younger sister and her friends and therefore has taken on a “leader” role with them and sometimes comes off as bossy.
MOTHER – Female, 40’s. Single mother. Hard worker who is very close to Craig, her only son. Somewhat pampers her son but allows him to do his own thing without being too overprotective.
JENNA – Female, 13-15. Ally’s younger sister. Knows all the tricks to get what she wants. Constantly bickers and instigates with Ally but tags along with her and looks up to her.
SEANA – Female, 13-15. Jenna’s best friend. Pre-teeny bopper who spends most of her time at Ally and Jenna’s house rather than at home. Loud and rambunctious.
DENISE – Female, 15-17. Ally’s best friend and often times the mastermind to the girls’ behavior. She will suggest ideas to Ally and then sit back and watch them unfold.
FAST FOOD WORKER # 1 – Female, Early to Mid Teens. Rebellious and wisecracking, will do anything to stick it to “the man” including violating dress code with bold piercings.
FAST FOOD WORKER # 2 – Early to Mid Teens. Apathetic, would rather be doing something else (if they could find something that they were interested in).
POLICE OFFICER – Male, 40’s. Experienced cop who has worked in this small town long enough to take a laid–back approach to most situations.

If you think you can play any of these roles, feel free to come out to the audition. The film is scheduled to be shot in early to mid April.

This is a young, college aged girl, close to Novakʼs age (20-23) and I imagine her with long brown hair. Sheʼs a natural beauty. She appears to be a little bit shy and thatʼs the reason why you would fall in love with her at first sight. Kind of a Katie Holmes (not like she is now, more like in Dawsonʼs Creek). The color of her eyes doesnʼt matter, but you should be able to drown in them.

But the most important thing is her acting-ability … if the best actress is
blond but fulfills all the other criteria they are fine with that.

Director's note:
Red Head or Strawberry Blond for this role so she provides more of a contrast to Novack. She will also become a striking visual device that pops out of a sea of white clothing and tan Floridians, indigenous to an ATP crowd. A Bryce Howard type.

She is a very cute older Lady (65+) at first sight. Sheʼs like a typical Florida grandma. Sheʼs got grey pinned-up hair and wrinkles. But once again, sheʼs cute. Thatʼs why it gets so funny when she throws an eye on Novak and canʼt control herself anymore. So the most important thing is, that she looks completely the opposite of a horny granny. So her behavious is even more surprising.

Director’s note:
I think 60-70 is our sweet spot here, yes. I like the idea of grey or even white hair and I think she needs to be a bit on the active side since she is a tennis enthusiast.
As an actress, she needs to have great range and I look for really expressive eyes. We will take her character from sweet retiree to horny grandma so it requires a big performance - it’s a key role as well.

A few sport fans, families, seniors etc. Everyone looks like they know how to behave at a tennis match take a look at a tennis tv broadcasting and youʼll know what we mean. Because itʼs a hot shooting location the people are allowed to make themselves comfortable with fans, hats and stuff. Always think about, that a tennis match can last up to 5 hours or more and people canʼt sit straight for such a long time.

Director’s note:

This is spot on. Culturally diverse. Novack is a young, rising star so some attractive groupie ladies are in order, some families and some seniors and a few young kids - the more die hard tennis fans we can get the better.

Great Opportunity!!

Hello everyone,

As most of you know I've been teaching at Full Sail for about three years. Recently Christian Bright (a student at Full Sail) and I created a group called The Directors Group. It's comprised of directors from many classes at Full Sail. Currently there are 80 members. We are going to have monthly meetings which will include seminars with working DGA members etc.

Here's where you come in. We need actors and actresses. We are going to bring in scenes from original scripts as well as produced films. The directors will be directing the actors throughout the night. This will not require a monthly commitment from you as we will only bring in four to six actors when we are working with actors that night. These are future filmmakers and we will possibly be doing projects from this group. I also believe this is a wonderful way for us to learn together.

A BEAUTIFUL BELLY Casting

Candle Fish Pictures is pleased to announce casting has begun for the microbudget independent feature film, A BEAUTIFUL BELLY (www.abeautifulbelly.com), a Romantic Dramedy about a young husband and wife experiencing a relationship crisis in the midst of their first pregnancy. The film will be written and directed by Andrew Kenneth Gay, whose short films “Naked,” “Love is Deaf,” and “Melissa With A Heart Around It” have received 50 official selections at film festivals in North America and Australia and have won a total of 8 awards.

Shooting is scheduled to take place between mid-June and mid-July 2009.

Auditions for lead and featured supporting roles will be held in Orlando, FL, by appointment with sides provided in advance, on the following dates:

A dashing fine arts photographer who strikes up a friendship with Danny at a vulnerable time in her marriage. Despite his GQ looks and style, Nathan is a little quirky and awkward (think Clark Kent).

A cunning, sensual, career-oriented graduate student developing a children’s show for a local television station. Allison sees in Jason an opportunity to make a name for herself, but they quickly forge a connection of another kind.

Jason’s older brother. He’s a firefighter and a family man. He’s taller, more attractive, and stronger than Jason and plays the role of his mentor and guide.

Dear filmmakers,

Starting March 6th, Film Annex will be documenting this year’s Miami International Film Festival for nine straight days! Through out the festival, the Film Annex film crew will be accompanying the festival director Tiziana Finzi and recording interviews, panels, receptions, and parties in order to capture the most exciting and key20moments of the festival! The acquired footage will be presented on Film Annex’s online platform.

Some of the names that will be appearing in Film Annex’s series of documentaries will include Adrien Brody, Abel Ferrara, Willem Dafoe, and Valentino Garavani.

After the festival, we will be looking for filmmakers and editors to edit our footage and create a documentary out of it. The best documentary will win our prize.

Candle Fish Pictures is pleased to announce casting has begun for the
microbudget independent feature film, A BEAUTIFUL BELLY
(www.abeautifulbelly.com), a Romantic Dramedy about a young husband
and wife experiencing a relationship crisis in the midst of their
first pregnancy.

The film will be written and directed by Andrew Kenneth Gay, whose
short films "Naked," "Love is Deaf," and "Melissa With A Heart Around
It" have received 50 official selections at film festivals in North
America and Australia and have won a total of 8 awards.

Shooting is scheduled to take place between mid-June and mid-July 2009.

Auditions for lead and featured supporting roles will be held in
Orlando, FL, by appointment with sides provided in advance, on the
following dates:

March 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 29
April 2, 3, 4, 5

In addition, an open casting call will be held in Lakeland, FL, on
March 28.

We are currently looking for Non-Union talent local to Central
Florida. Pay is negotiable.

In addition to acting talent, the production is seeking submissions
for both pregnant body-doubles and pregnant models for a series of

I am directing Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge" for West Coast
Players, a theatre based out of Clearwater, Florida. I am looking to
fill the following roles:

Alfieri, male, 50s-60s

Rudolpho, male, late teens-20s (a little bit of singing would be
required)

Marco, male, late 20s-30s

Beatrice, female, 30s-40s
