- Valencia Community College will be holding open auditions for the short film "Avarice". Auditions will take place on Thursday Feb 12, 2009 in the East Campus Library (building 4), First Floor, Study Room 112, from 3PM to 8PM.

The film is set in the old west, and is a story about greed, loosely inspired by Chaucer's "The Pardoner." Three lead speaking roles are as follows:
Earl - 30's male, robber
Jimmy - 20's male, robber/Earl's younger brother
Death - 40+ male, the grim reaper in cowboy form

Wonder-Lust Productions is currently casting for its FEATURE film, "Son of

We are considering both SAG and non-union actors for the lead
role in the film. This is a nationwide search.
The Breakdown for other characters shall be released in March 2009 in
New York and Boston.
David Collins – Male. American. All ethnicities. 18-years-old.
5'10" or taller. Very athletic. Handsome. (Actor must be at least
18 or legally emancipated.) David is a star High School Hockey
Player with a bright future in college, a high school sweetheart he
adores and a talent for music he can't ignore. As a pianist he is
brilliant; as a singer, he has a voice and style meant for the
stage. One man with two dreams that can not co-exist; how will he
choose.
Role requirements: Must be athletic; a knowledge of ice skating is
helpful but not required, excellent singer and pianist.
