BEC Productions is shooting a new short film entitled, "The Fatalist." It tells the story of four people who have come together to play a game of poker when one of the players decides to test fate with a game of Russian Roulette.
We will be shooting on Wednesday February 5th and Thursday February 6th. The location is in Avalon Park, which is about a ten minute drive from the UCF main campus.
We are specifically looking for boom operators. We have all of the equipment and a sound mixer, however we need someone to operate the boom. No experience is necessary. Just be reliable and have a good attitude.
We are also looking for grips, camera assistants (Shooting digital), and PA's. Again, no experience necessary.

4-CAROL DODD: 30’s – 40’s. She is an attractive manager at the Sands Resort. She is warm hearted and sees Janis as a wounded bird in need of help. She has no idea how violent Janis can be or the monsters that live within her.
6-RENE REYNOLDS: 30’s – 40’s attractive professional actress who is a little bit ditzy.
She joins Carol in trying to bring Janis out of her shell.
7-MILLIE ACKERMAN: 30’s-40’s, The comptroller at the resort.

Story Treatment:
Marcus Nolan has paid his debt to society and has just been released from prison. Marcus comes from the hard streets where brute violence meant survival. His younger brother Andrew, the first in the family to graduate from college and recently engaged, notices that his brother has truly changed his ways and is looking for a fresh start in life.
However, a botched hit in Marcus's past comes to haunt him, and in seeking revenge, Marcus's enemy kidnaps, tortures and kills Andrew, sending Marcus into a dark descent of violence, rage and retribution.

Myself and a couple of others are doing a film for Campus Movie Festival (www.campusmoviefestival.com). The story that we are doing is a story about the harm of prejudices. If you are a male and are fluent in a Middle Eastern language such as Arabic, Maltese, Turkish, (as well as English), and you're looking to get involved in a fun film project, this could be for you!
All we need is about half an hour of your time; this is a big part of the 5 minute film. In the next few weeks I will begin shooting a short (7 min) film and need to cast the two main actors.
The two roles I'm casting for are:

BEC Productions is shooting a new short film entitled, "The Fatalist." It tells the story of four people who have come together to play a game of poker when one of the players decides to test fate with a game of Russian Roulette.

We are shooting a short movie trailer for a film entitled "The Blood of Brothers"
The format is HD, 24p with mini35 adaptor.
Experienced DP, editor and producer will be spearheading project.
Trailer will be roughly 2-4 minutes long.
Story Treatment:
Marcus Nolan has paid his debt to society and has just been released from prison. Marcus comes from the hard streets where brute violence meant survival. His younger brother Andrew, the first in the family to graduate from college and recently engaged, notices that his brother has truly changed his ways and is looking for a fresh start in life.
However, a botched hit in Marcus's past comes to haunt him, and in seeking revenge, Marcus's enemy kidnaps, tortures and kills Andrew, sending Marcus into a dark descent of violence, rage and retribution.

There will be guns, muzzle flashes, slo motion action sequences etc! We are doing short trailer as a test for bigger projects.
Everyone involved is donating their time, so this is a non-paid gig. However, it will be a WELL DONE project, with professionals at the helm.
We will be shooting on February 7th and 8th (Saturday and Sunday) and providing food to the cast and crew.

If you are a male and are fluent in a Middle Eastern language such as Arabic, Maltese, Turkish, (as well as English), and you're looking to get involved in a fun film project, this could be for you!

Open Casting Call for Short Film this Sat (Jan 31st) (Clearwater, FL)

In the next few weeks I will begin shooting a short (7 min) film and need to cast the two main actors.
The two roles I'm casting for are:
1. Caucasian male, 18-22, skinny, dark hair, unkempt, disturbed. If you can generate a sense of foreboding you would be a perfect fit.
2. Caucasian female, 18-22, average build, any hair color, punkish or hipster style.
I don't have the start date nailed down but we will most likely shoot on Sundays. Probably only a few days are needed.
It's a low budget short, so I can pay the actors $40 once the film is complete to cover gas and time.
My intentions are to submit this to local festivals once it has been completed.

RL Productions is casting for Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun. If you are interested in any of the roles please send head shots and resumes to the email below. We are looking to cast by mid February and rehearsals would start the beginning of March **Sunday's 4pm-6, monday's 6:30pm-8:30, and Thursday's 6:30pm-8:30** those are the set practice dates if you can't do those dates please do not submit for this casting. The target date for the show is the end of May.
