Film Synopsis:
Sarah Campbell has to start her life over again after a messy divorce leaves her broken, lost, and alone for the first time in years. Having to live dumpy apartment complex with some interesting people is the least of her worries when strange things begin to happen in her new home including visions of a little boy in the mirrors.
Passing them off as her “crazy imagination”, things intensify when
Sarah starts to have nightmares about being murdered and tossed into a shallow grave by a “shadowy figure”.
As her nightmares become more vivid, so do her encounters with the ghostly child who begins terrorize her and cause “accidents” wherever she goes.
After a visit to a local “psychic/Paranormal expert”, Sarah is told that she must help the ghost complete his unfinished business so he can cross to the other side.
Through an encounter with her charming next door neighbor, Sarah realizes her neighbor is the “shadowy figure” that she has been dreaming about…and that he murdered the little boy.

Movie Casting:

they are looking for both men and women. Here is the breakdown from the director:



We need fit good looking people for underwater, and above water they can be thin, but we're going with prosthetic masks, so it doesn't matter what they look like above water that is, underwater is this idealized group of people.
1. Most of the photography will take place underwater so naturally you will be in a pool for extensive periods of time. Sitting on the wall, treading water, holding your breath and coordinating underwater with other talent with your eyes open, etc. Goggles will be provided for the times we are not filming.

2. The role you will be playing will be that of an "eyeless demon." In our world, demons do not wear clothing (lol). However, our "clothing" will most likely consist of sheets wrapped in the typical fashion of a toga. The amount of "sheet" that you would like to wear is up to you, although the less, the better, because of the reason stated earlier. For girls, we would prefer "pasties" under the sheet (that we will provide), as to not add color to the shot.

3. The shoot will take place exclusively at night, for instance a typical day would be 8pm - 6am. The primary days are July 23rd - 25th followed by a night sometime between the 26th and August 20th, at the main location for some shots of the demon's chasing the lead character out of the pool.

4. Food will be provided and carpooling is recommended.

5. We would prefer your residence to be in Naples (our shooting city) for your travel convenience and we probably won't be able to house many for multiple nights. However if you'd like to come for one of the nights, that would be greatly appreciated.

mother, but he never showed it. He has never really thought

RINGO
Description: 30s, tall and thin, blonde curly hair, care free
looking. Personality: a bit of a follower, sociable, romantic, tries to avoid violence. Looks up to his brother, Dingo. Ringo's
main hope in life is to find true love. He is a great cook
of Italian food and women love him for it. He is sentimental
and shows emotions easily. He openly showed his love to his
mother. He only thinks of making money because he thinks
money will bring him love.

DAVE THE DOG - CAST BOGEY THE DOG
Description: Big and Hairy.
Personality: Dave loves Dingo and Ringo. Sadly, Dave is
like Dingo because the dog has a very short temper. Dave
loves food, especially garlic sausage. The dog is very
intelligent. He would jump through fire to help Dingo and
Ringo.

UNLUCKY BOB DELANEY
Description: 30-40s, greased back hair, skinny with tattoos, sad
looking. Personality: A depressed/cynical taxi driver. He lacks hope due to all the bad things that have happened to him. His mom and dad left him at the orphanage when he was little. He has

I'm currently casting a short horror film over in St. Pete.

The premise: Suspiria is a spooky gal who supplements her income by killing people for money. She takes a job from a man looking to have his wife murdered. There's only one stipulation: He wants her dead before midnight. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Suspiria arrives a little late but gets the job done anyway. Little does she know that the wife has a few secrets of her own. She returns to life with only one goal: To kill everyone involved with her untimely demise.

The style of the flick is gonna be a kind of grindhouse/film noir mixture. Overtly sexual characters (as in sex appeal, not porn), severed heads, nudity, foul language and cheesy plot elements that require suspension of disbelief are all aspects of this movie along with plot twists and a dark atmosphere where no one, not even the main character, is safe.

The shooting schedule will be 4 days. Filming will take place in late July/early August. This is a shoe-string budget production so pay is unlikely however I can provide food/drinks, a fun atmosphere plus a finished copy of the film. I'm looking for reliable people who are interested in making a movie for the sake of making a movie and having a good time doing it. If you're a fan of horror films and you'd like to see yourself in one then you're the type of person I'm looking for.

Holds Season Auditions for their 2010-2011 Production Season



Venue Ensemble Theatre is holding an open season audition for their 2010-2011 production season on Tuesday August 17, 2010, 6 – 10 pm, at Venue Theatre and Actors Studio, 9125 US 19N, Pinellas Park, FL.



Scheduled season productions include The Man With The Plastic Sandwich (Nov 2010) by Roger Karshner (2M, 2W) directed by Midge Mamatas , Looking (Feb 2011) by Norm Foster (2M, 2W) directed by Alan Mohney, Jr. , and Secrets of a Soccer Mom (Apr 2011) by Kathleen Clark (3W) directed by Mary Kay Cyrus.



Season auditions are by appointment and consist of prepared monologues. These auditions will be used by each director for separate callback auditions for each production.



Please prepare one two-minute comedic monologue or 2 one-minute contrasting monologues.
