Car Demo Casting

I demo a car product on the Home Shopping Network called Car MD. You plug it into your car when the check engine light comes on and it tells you what's wrong. It's very cool and easy to use. The woman from the Car MD company, Kristin, is in need of several people for her testimonials. This will be featured as b-roll for HSN, news interviews, and in infomercials. I told her we are blessed with highly reliable actors here in Central Florida. She plans to send the tool in advance to those she selects and send a camera crew to Winter Park one weekend in March. The actual testimonials will take about 1/2 hour to 1 hour for each person selected. She will also provide a $50 gas card and the tool is yours to keep (which is a $100 value), then she will give you a DVD for your reel.

This has been featured on the Fox and other news networks, at conventions, and many other places with still more to come. I do believe it's great exposure. She's looking for down-to-earth people, particularly women of all ages, all looks, everything.

AVB Productions feature film The Americans will begin pre-production in the spring of 2010 with shooting scheduled in the summer of 2010 in Shreveport.
